As the Willamette River starts to clear Salmon fishing Portland Oregon on the Willamette River will get good. With the extremely warm weather in the next few days, salmon fishing should only get better and better, I am very excited for this salmon fishery.
Sturgeon fishing has been excellent on the Willamette River. I Have been averaging 15 to 20 sturgeon A-day between 2 and 7′ long.
Sturgeon fishing is catch and release Onley but lots of action!

Walleye on the Columbia River has been good. I do most of my walleye fishing in the upper Columbia River around The Dalles dam, and John Day Dam.
