well I had 2 days of steelhead fishing on the Columbia river, I was fishing in the Columbia River gorge.
Fishing was good the first fish we caught was a salmon so had to let that on go.

Columbia river sturgeon fishing for the next 4 days. I have a group of 4 people that booked with me for four days.
The first day was June 22nd we started fishing on the Columbia river at 6am. As the day went on we caught 16 or 17 small sturgeon and 1 keeper.

We fish from buoy 10, which is the mouth of the Columbia river, all the way up the Columbia river gorge to Bonneville Dam. We also fish Tillamook Bay, Sandy river, Willamette river and Clackamas river.

Columbia River salmon fishing starts tomorrow. I will be fishing in the Columbia River gorge. There are about 2000 salmon a day going over the dam.
I like to fish in 12 to 15 feet of water and use spinners.
Fishing can be done at what everybody calls the shad rack.
