Sturgeon fishing is very simple and fun to catch.
I do lots of sturgeon fishing in the Portland Oregon area.
I like to use Tica rod. With a Sea spirt with 100-pound tuff line.
I use a slider for my weight the to my hook which is a size 10.
I use 130-pound leader. I like my leader to be about 4 foot long.
I like the long leader because when the Sturgeon gets to the boat, I can just grab the line.
Fish were there is current the water does not have to be deep to catch Sturgeon.
Look for back eddy and any place you think food will be stuck.
