You ask what can we fish for in rainy season? Sturgeon yes Sturgeon. Now Sturgeon fishing is catch and release but there is lots of action with the average Sturgeon being 4 to 7 feet long this time of year. It is very common to have a day were we catch 10 to 20 nice quality size Sturgeon in a day. Remember don’t worry about the cold damp weather because we have a covered and heated boat.
We would be doing this Sturgeon fishing in the Portland Oregon area on the Willamette River.
Now maybe you want to try to put some meet in your freezer, we can help with that. January we get a short season to keep Sturgeon in the Bonneville Pool.
Limits of Columbia River Sturgeon.
You ask were is the Bonneville Pool? this is the section of the Columbia River above Bonneville Dam. I will be using multiple boat ramps from Cascade locks Oregon, Hood River Oregon, and the Dallas Oregon. Meeting location for the keeper Sturgeon fishery in the Bonneville Pool are decided on weather and fishing conditions.
